In two weeks it will be Christmas, three it’s New Years. Somehow the year has slipped by. Brian and I try to blog each day, but we’ve been buried in testing and selecting ideas. For the rest of the year, we’ll try to post at least once a day, hopefully twice. Here’s what’s coming:

  • For shopping ideas, we have found new stores offering great ideas for foodies.
  • And for serious cooks, we’ll highlight recipes from the best cookbooks of the year, books you may want to give to other or just to yourself.
  • Recipes, of course. We’ve selected ideas for holiday entertaining that are both delicious and distinctive. Your holiday table will look and taste even better.

So be prepared for a barrage  of ideas. I can tell you in advance that you’ll want to stock up on chocolate, butter, sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and heavy cream. Okay, we have ham and pasta and crab and salmon ideas coming to you in just the next few days. Life is more that just cakes and cookies. [But not much more.]
