Our newest family member is Winnie. She took this selfie this week. Technically, it was me holding the camera with my finger on the shutter release. But it was Winnie who reached out with her paw, dug her claws in the top of my hand, and made the shutter release go off. She gets full credit.
Winnie came with claws. When she reached out, my hands also began to jump up, which is why the photo is not perfectly focused. With my hands above me, some blood dripped down on my shirt. Winnie came with long claws.
"What have you done now?" Suzen was looking at me and my shirt. "Blood, food, we need to dress you in one of those orange prison jump suits."
What could I say? "The cat made me do it," is a response that would not have been appreciated.
Actually, Winnie is sweet and playful.
She now has shorter claws.
