Here’s the story. We lost internet service. For 10 days. Our internet provider here in Manhattan is Time Warner Cable. It’s been a trial with me on the phone every single day, two or three times. I was able to work with very able persons who took my internet distress quite seriously. But the bottom line is that an incredible amount of fumbling and bumbling went on before Time Warner was finally able to find and solve the problem. Oh, “solve” the problem. We are on our third fix. Hope it holds.
Infrastructure issues are not limited to bridges and roads. Sometimes it’s just a simple cable under the street.
