Today is a day for presents and we suggest you try something a little different, today and through the year. As you cook, take a pause now and then. Just enjoy your kitchen environment, the looks, the smells. Those bowls you got from your mother. The patina on that copper pot.
And take a second lingering look at your ingredients. There is inherent beauty there. Right down to that head of garlic.
