I’ve provided this link to this most excellent recipe. Abigail is a distinguished author, recipe developer and dessert maven. What’s lovely about this recipe is its authenticity. No “pumpkin pie spice” here. Abigail has her own mix of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. There’s just 1/4 teaspoon of that nutmeg. This is not Spice Pie, it is Pumpkin Pie and Abigail has perfected her mix of ingredients here to give you that specific flavor that lingers in your memory. It’s a rich pie, using half and half and not just milk. Suzi and I have made this recipe for the past few years and always sigh with satisfaction and happiness.
